If you're a fan of smoothies, you'll love the Carrot Daiquiri. This sweet mix of fruit and vegetables is a great option for people of all ages because it can be made with or without alcohol. To make the Carrot Daiquiri in your Margaritaville® Bahamas™ Frozen Concoction Maker®, just gather these ingredients:
- 6 ounces or 4 shots of carrot juice
- 1 1/2 cups of fresh, chopped mango
- 3/4 cup crushed pineapple
- Ice
Start by filling your party machine's ice hopper to the marked line. Next, combine the pineapple, carrot juice and mango into the margarita maker's blender jar. Cover the jar, put it in place and turn the machine on. After a few seconds you'll be left with a frosty, nonalcoholic drink that's ready to be served in a hurricane glass. Just garnish with a lime or pineapple wedge and enjoy.
Carrot juice is rich in nutrients such as vitamin A, vitamin K and potassium. Chopped mango also has nutritional benefits. This tropical fruit is loaded with vitamin A, flavanoids, vitamin C and copper.
If you do want to spike this recipe, consider adding a small amount of white rum. It's the traditional liquor for daiquiris and works well with these sweet ingredients. Your fellow Parrotheads at Margaritaville® Cargo remind you to enjoy your frozen concoctions responsibly and obey all drinking laws.
