Mettez la valve en mode vide et fixez-la à un scellant portatif (vendu séparément) pour aider à garder les aliments frais au congélateur, au réfrigérateur et au garde-manger. Ou passez en mode Marinate pour mariner la viande, le poisson et les légumes en quelques minutes plutôt qu’en quelques heures. Ces contenants et piles FoodSaver pratiques pour aider à garder votre cuisine organisée et sont conçus avec du matériel Tritan de qualité supérieure pour une durabilité extrême, de sorte qu’ils ne se fissureront pas ou ne tacheront pas. New Containers
The new containers don't work any better than the old ones. None of the old design held the seal for more than a few hours. The new one is the same way doesn't hold the seal at all. The only ones that ever hold a seal are the clear canisters with white lids. Never have an issue with those and go figure they don't make those any longer. I love the bags they work great but the containers are a huge disappointment. I was so hoping for a product that worked.

ALL 3 DO NOT STAY SEALED
I have the top of the line food saver machine with the accessory. I also bought the handheld accessory to seal my new containers easier. Bought the new version of the containers. $50 for 3 containers, you would think they would actually work for their only intended purpose. I follow the directions to the letter yet my containers will not stay sealed. I get about a 6 hour vacuum seal before the indicator pops back out. I didn’t wash these in the dish washer they shouldn’t be warped. I’ve had them 3 days.

New container versus the old version container.
I was concerned with the new type of container, being I still have the older version which I am using today. I am most impressed with the new way of sealing the container from the old version. The other issue I noticed is the seal is way better than the older version, with the older version the rubber seal kept coming off when I removed the lid and had to put the rubber back in place prior to sealing the container. Some of my older versions plastic body which I have had for 5 years plus, cracked with normal use, Judgement on this issue is still out, I will be ordering more of these new style containers.

FoodSaver by Jarden: Great concept/But Lacking
The FoodSaver concept of vacuum containers to make food last longer is a great concept, and I have been purchasing the containers for many years. HOWEVER, the containers are notorious for cracking, sometimes even exploding. They are not constructed well-enough to stand the pressure after the air is extracted. Sometimes there are slow air leaks, sometimes the container and the tops of the containers will literally crack when using the food sealer machine to extract the air. Sometimes I will hear an exploding sound in the kitchen. When I go to investigate, I will find a container in pieces. Then periodically I will contact FoodSaver (Jarden), and they will deliver to me free replacement containers. But that is a hassle. Why do I continue to buy this product, and go through the major hassle of contacting them to obtain free replacements? Is because I like the product for the purpose of making food last longer. But it really is a hassle. You would think that in this day and age a company could make a product that would last much longer. I also within the last few months purchased another FoodSaver Vacuum Sealer System, (Model : FM2000-015), -- but it is under-powered and takes significantly much longer to draw-out the air from a container, than previous vacuum sealer systems I have purchased from them. Major hassle. Also, when re-ordering containers or hoses, often those items are not in stock. For all of the reasons above, is why I only give a 2-star rating. Would love to give a 5-star rating review. But Jarden needs to make containers that can weather the pressure and not crack or explode. GC Alexandria, Virginia

Very convenient and easy to use; durable.
Well engineered with solid construction. Very useful for singles or small families who wish to save leftovers, but don't wish to repeat the same meal two or three days in a row, as food freshness is maintained for several days; also good to use in the microwave oven to reheat food frozen in the container but be sure to release the vacuum before reheating. Also good to store coffee to maintain freshness. Very pleased; plan to purchase several more.

Good find
I find it really frustrating that I look for containers all the time and there're hardly any available. I have to use points and checkout the clearance section and found these! Never have I seen them on website for sale... Please offer more containers of variety.

Defective, and expensive - a waste of money
They definitely do not nest for storage at all and therefore take up a ton of space in a cabinet or drawer. Furthermore, they are not top rack of dishwasher safe as indicated. The very first time I tried to put one in the dishwasher the text printing on the lid almost completely washed away. Hand washing the lids is an absolute nightmare if they get dirty, because the lids are highly "structured" with lots of nooks and crannies to reap food. What a terribly frustrating product this is - made worse by how expensive it is. I really regret wasting so much money on this garbage product.

Very disappointing!
I LOVE the Foodsaver I've been using for years, but don't love single use plastic so I was really excited to see these containers and resealable pouches!
BUT
Of the 6 containers I bought, only 4 will hold a vacuum seal. Thank goodness for the little pop-up vacuum indicator thingy because otherwise I'd just assume they're working when they're not. So... points to Foodsaver for that.
Otherwise, I feel like I wasted a BUNCH of money on a poor quality product that I can't return because they've been used (had to buy the little hand sealer too). Have had similar hit or miss results with the resealable bags, too.
