Great Product!!
This small rubber flap definitely does its job by evacuating air. Easy install. Easy use. Highly recommended!

Old containers now useable again
These flap valves weaken and will not hold the vacuum after not that many uses. At least now the replacements are available which allows otherwise unusable containers to be used again. While I recommend the replacement flap valves, they are overpriced. Unfortunately, w/o them the relevant contains become useless in a very short time. I do not recommend the containers that use them.

Unusable
I bought a hand held unit to be able to use the containers. I understand it needs an adapter. I couldn't find one anywhere so the hand held unit is useless for containers.
