Quality has gone down
The sealer is great! I have 2. I purchased these bags for years. My last purchase of gallon, quart bags and portion control roll had many that didn't hold seal and maybe even seemed thinner. The portion control bags ripped when I was seperating them. Not good at all. I ended up purchasing another brand I found when I did a search for food saver bags online and it popped up. MUCH less expensive and I haven't had a bag fail yet. Hope this helps if they let it post.

Great Value at BOGO Prices!
I stock up on these bags when FoodSaver runs a BOGO sale as it puts these bags at the same price (or maybe even a bit less) than bags made by other manufacturers, which, in my experience, are not quite up to the same quality as genuine FoodSaver bags. I've never had an FS bag fail to hold its seal, whereas I can't say the same for bags of other manufacture.

Disappointed
I have been using the quart bags for years and found them to be exactly the right size for freezing rib eye steaks. I recently opened a new box and found them to be much shorter than the bags used previously - same "quart" size. My steaks would not fit! Very disappointed that Foodsaver decided to reduce the size and keep the price the same.

Perfect for most anything
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the FoodSaver for 20 years(I am using my second machine). It is just my husband and I. So when we go to a super store and get large amounts of meats, fish etc, I am able to use these for smaller portions to freeze. I also use the pint size just as much for smaller items. It is wonderful to not have to worry about freezer burn on meats, cheeses and vegetables. I also have the rolls just in case I need it for something bigger. I used paper towels folded up near the top to soak up any juices.So very happy with food saver and all it's different uses.

The best size bags and convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these bags, the best! So easy to use, just the perfect size for all my freezing needs. Best part Food Saver gets them on sale where you buy one box get the other box free, it's the BEST deal EVER! Thank you Food Saver. I use my machine weekly, sometimes daily. Best investment ever buying one of these machines. I live by myself and I cook a bunch of meals at the beginning of the month and save all my food so the entire month I grab a bag emerge it in a bowl of cold water and within 20-25 mins. it's defrosted and heat it up or stick in the oven if I want crispness (I take out of bag for heating). I love their quality and effectiveness.

Work great for use with my vacuum sealer.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a VacMaster vacuum sealer that I use almost daily. I have 3 sizes of the 3 mil bags for this sealer, but sometime I need bags larger than the smallest bag and smaller than the medium sized one. I can make bags from the Foodsaver bag rolls, but sometimes using these bags is much more convenient. Yes, they cost a little more than the bag rolls, but they are worth it for the time they save me in cutting and sealing one end of bags when using the bag rolls. I still use the bag rolls at times, but use these when I have a package or two that need a larger bag than the ones I have for the vacuum sealer.

Size has changed.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the quart sized bags all the time. Then one day I found I could fit the same amount of food into the bags. I happened to notice that your company has shaved an inch off the length...and you haven't bothered to change the product picture that indicates the product is 8x11 when, in fact, they are all 8x10 now. Not sure how a QUART sized bag can still be a quart when an inch is gone from the size. I won't be purchasing anymore.

44 QUART BAGS
THE QUART BAGS USED TO BE 8X11 NOW ARE 8X10 ALSO THEIR THICKNESS IS THINNER. I HAVE USED THEM FOR TWENTY FIVE YEARS. VERY DISAPOINTED.I WILL BE LOOKING FOR OTHER BRANDS.
