Forget the freakin name par
This seals jars with jar sealer lids
This actually works with the jar sealer lids. I had trouble figuring it out ( it probably was me) at first I couldn’t figure out how to charge it DUH! I finally figured I had to put the whole gadget ( plastic and all) into the charger.
Then I found it hard to believe that the little black knob would work on the little hole in the top of the white jar sealer tops. Since there were no directions for use with the jar sealer lids I found a lady on you tube who demonstrated how to use it. That is what helped me
So don’t give up it works. I sealed my first jar of dehydrated onion. Im ecstatic. Alas I can die happy. ( when the Lord is ready)

Stopped Charging
I bought this unit in October 2022. I have it docked on my counter with the green light showing. I have un-docked the unit about a dozen times to use it. the past few times it was mostly uncharged and would only seal one bag with difficulty. VERY disappointed with this model. I have used the previous model (quite a bit larger) for a number of years and only replaced it because the charger connections were loose and I couldn't recharge the unit. The charging base may be faulty, but I actually believe the rechargeable battery unit was cheap and faulty. I need it replaced!

Stopped working
Loved it at first so I bought 3 more (with bags) for my kids for Christmas. Only used it a few times but it got liquid in it on last use and now it won’t work. Is there any way to open it so it can dry out? Also I guess the bags aren’t for the freezer? I have used them for freezer food. I didn’t see anything on the package that says not to. I hate to return them before Christmas but I may not have a choice. Please advise if I need to re-bag everything in the freezer AND how to get rid of moisture in the sealer. Thanks

Terrible Workmanship
This is the worst item I have ever brought from FoodSaver and I have bought numerous items from them. I am on my 3rd handheld in this new series and it’s stopped working just like the other two. They just don’t work after a very short time like two-three weeks. Why?

Real Disappointment
Does not work nearly as well as the original, just not much power so it take a really long time to empty air from a small bag

Cordless Handheld Vacuum Sealer
I really love how quick & easy it is to seal these bags. To be able to reuse them instead of always having to make new bags, is great!
I do however, have two things that may make it a little better....
1) I do not like that I have to hold down the button for it to vacuum. I feel I should be able to push/release the button, to start the process, then it would automatically shut off when it is complete. If I need to stop it before all air is removed, I could just push the button again to stop it.
2) A rubber seal that would fit just inside the bottom to make sure your getting a seal when the contents of the bag are not flat or even.
All in all, I love it!!

Buy it you'll love it
Easy to use, don't take up alot of room. I use it on canister, dish's, zipper bags.
Great for small jobs. I use big food saver when packaging alot. Love all food saver products

Stopped working
Bought the prior model, Model FS2100 and received it in January 2023. Always kept in the charger and showed as charged. Worked great initially but about 2 months ago it started having a very short vacuum time. Tried cleaning the contact points, having it sit out for 24 hours and then placing in stand for 48 hrs before trying to use. Green lights turn green in the stand but now the green light flickers briefly and then goes out when I try to use it. Just past it’s year warranty so not much I can do. Now the multiple special bags I bought to go with this sealer are basically expensive ziplocks. Very disappointing.
