Works perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Foodsaver VS5930 elite all-in-one liquid vacuum sealer with accessories in the mail and we really love it. The wife was in the market cause her sealer was acting up. This thing is really nice, it works perfectly. It seals anything liquid or solid that will fit up to a gallon size bag. With just a push push of a button you are on your way. It actually detects what size bag you are using. It even comes with different size bags to get you started.It even comes with a bonus bottle stopper. This thing is simply amazing and works just as well. My wife loves this thing . Thanks food saver for an awesome product.

My New Favorite!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used other products in the same category before, however I have found that the VS5930 has become my favorite. I often buy meat in bulk, vacuum seal it, and then freeze it in more manageable portions. I have been able to use this FoodSaver for this task and have found that this product has been the easiest to use for this task as compared to others. Additionally I vacuum store wild game meats and look forward to the upcoming seasons due to this vacuum sealer as it has been the best and easiest thus far for me to use, with all of the options I would like!

An essential tool for gardeners!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We always end the gardening season with a ton of produce and therefore have to figure out storage options pretty quickly because it is impossible to eat the food in a timely manner. This FoodSaver has been an essential tool for us. We have used it to vacuum seal corn, onions, peppers, and homemade salsa. We have even recently used it to freeze soup. This saves an amazing amount of time when compared to canning and really provides for fresher meals upon thawing. I love it and can't wait to put it to use for the upcoming mushroom season!

Built in bag cutter..
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We wanted to get a vacuum sealer and we love the Food Saver, easy three steps, fill the bag with liquid or dry food, it automatically detects the bag when you insert it. Press the vacuum or seal button to begin. It comes with quart and gallon bags and two rolls of bags you can make your own size bags. When you get the size bag you want there is a bag cutter built in when making custom size bags. The built in handheld sealer is a great feature if you have containers that seal, place the pump over the container valve and press the button. you can seal soups, sauces and salsas. It has an easy to remove and clean the drip pan. we highly recommend this vacuum sealer.

This is a piece of crap par
Biggest piece of junk
I bought this less than a month ago and all it is, is an expensive piece of junk. There isn’t enough suction on this at all. I used it yesterday for some ground beef and it’s already freezer burned. I just tried chicken and there’s still air in it. I hate that the seal is up so high as well. I’ll go back to the basic extremely cheaper model that worked great until it finally broke. So disappointed! I’m returning it tomorrow.

Food Saver elite VS5960
I just love this upgrade for me. Takes less counter space and now I don't have soup all over my counter. I buy in bulk and there is only me, so I need a good storage system. Now I have a Instant prepared meal, mainly because I mostly cook for 4(still cooking as if my grown family was still at home).I rarely throw away food now. I can Instantly Bag, Refrigerate or Freeze and the bags take up little space compared to putting soups and vegetables in containers .

Versatile, Easy-to-Use Vacuum Sealer

The FoodSaver is an incredible machine that’s versatile & easy to use. It handles a wide range of food types – including dry, liquid and marinades. It’s a great way to prep meals ahead of time so they’re ready to go straight from the freezer. It also a great money saver, opening up the opportunity to buy meats in bulk. I really like the built-in roller and bag maker that contributes to its ease of use and provides flexibility when selecting a storage option. The machine does an excellent job securely sealing the packages & the drip tray minimizes the risk of messes. Overall, excellent product!

I mean...
It's nice, but not sure it's worth all the money. For what we paid, I'd expect it to suck the chrome off of a tail pipe! haha It doesn't get all the air out of the bags. Could be a user error, but we follow the directions....and still a bit of air in the bags (we'll keep trying).
The air tight containers/vacuum seal containers are nice...and that little hand held vacuum sealer works great!

Amazing upgraded features
All the new features are wonderful upgrades. I have been using Foodsaver Vacuum sealers for 25 years started in 1998 and they get better and better,The automatic close and lock and it is also a spacesaver. The ability to do liquid and being able to seal one bag while cuuting the previous one and even an auto shut off. The only complaint I have is that the new one is slower than on old one.

Life Changing

There are SO many custom options to make sure you are storing food the exact way you want to, to prolong the life of your food. The fact that this can seal liquids is really a came changer. The build in sealer and cutter saves time and maximizes efficiency. There is truly NOTHING they haven't thought of when it comes to this. It was very easy to use after giving the instructions a quick once over. You NEED this in your life.

very versatile
I haven't been able to try the liquid function yet. I like that it takes up less counter space than my previous 5600 series. I don't like how the bag cutter works with the roll stored on the back, because you have to pull the roll through the lid, seal, pull it the rest of the way and cut it off. When you do this, it pushes down on the lid activating it to seal again before you've filled the bag. So you have to quickly shut it off and proceed with cutting off the bag.

Found the Elite lacking in doing it all.
Purchased this product to store pre-cooked chicken legs and thighs for easy access for a special diet. I've found individuals pieces of meats, fish and chicken together in one bag is a real chore as these foods will not lie flat and fall to the bottom of the bag, bunching together. I had a FoodSaver years ago with the sealer lower to the table. Is it necessary to purchase another machine like the one I had before as this Elite All-in-One does not do it all. Shall I return this product to FoodSaver or to point-of-sale purchase?

Love it!!

I had another one that wouldn’t seal right every time but this was makes it so simple and easy! Love the feature to bag soups for easy sealing and storing instead of something bulky in the freezer. This thing will be so handy stocking up on bulk buying and filling our freezer. Definitely a good one! Also came with bags and stuff to start out which is amazing for trying it out.

Cooking for One!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With being single and often cooking for myself, this FoodSaver Elite All-in-One is a huge help! I can buy meat ahead of time and vacuum seal it so that it stays fresh. I can also prep my meals ahead of time and keep them organized! I love how easy it is to use the food saver. It has multiple modes: dry, moist, liquid, and sous vide. I also enjoy being able to make custom bags! My experience in the kitchen has only improved since I added the FoodSaver. I'm glad I got it!

Fantastic Food Saver
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the food saver to try to help keep food fresh. I scanned the booklet and video about machine loaded. It was very helpful in understanding how the machine works. I really liked all the things I could put in these bags. I am able to buy meat in bulk and put in the bags. Also made vegetable soup and held the liquid with no spilling. It will be so good to have food that isn’t freezer burned. Such a great machine you have to buy one. It will be a big time saver.

Good product, but...
Smaller size means more countertop space and the vacuum motor is significantly quieter than previous models. One downer...having to manipulate the bag rolls to change from bag sealing to accessory use is a bit annoying. That being said, I would still recommend this moisture/liquid machine.

This sealer is Amazing, it works so good on packaging meats to any size meal you’re preparing, as you get to cut the bags to the size you need. I was a little scared to try on sauces but when I did it was great and now I make lots of homemade things and freeze them. I am so glad I got this food saver. I would highly recommend this product.

It automatically detects that I have placed a bag in and it seals it. It stores bag rolls so you make your own custom bag and has a built-in cutter. I love that it seals liquid. If you are looking for an upgraded food saver this is the one. Also, it has a handheld sealer so you can seal containers. I love it!!

Nice but not supportive of older vacuum bowls
I love that it seals the next package when you cut the first one, but I do not like the new hand held device. It is round instead of oval so it does not fit the bowls I have from the original sealer.

Exceeds expectations
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I do most of the cooking in my house and sometimes cook too much and the food eventually ends up in the trash because I haven't had an easy way to freeze except for tupperware containers and then the food gets freezer burn. This makes it so easy to store multiple meals, plan ahead so dinner time is quicker and food still tastes fresh with no freezer burn and with BBQ or smoky kfoods it doesn't smell up my freezer. Love it!

Works but not well designed
I bought this as a replacement for my third Foodsaver machine. Based on the price and the features I thought this was perfect. After several months, I've found this machine works well doing the job, but it is poorly designed and far from user friendly as my other ones were. The bag feed and seal system is poor and the way the machine operates is not easy to use.

This thing works great!

With regular ziploc bags sometimes it would get freezer burnt but with this vacuum sealer has eliminated that! It’s so easy to use and worth every penny! It will help preserve your food longer and eliminate freezer burn! Also works great to reseal chip bags! Highly recommend!

My favorite feature about the FoodSaver VS5930 Elite All-in-One Liquid+™ Vacuum Sealer is that I am about prepare my favorite soups and be able to vacuum seal them and store them flat in the freezer saving me a ton of space. I have sealed so many things to extend shelf life like rice, beans, oatmeal and even candy I am so happy with my foodsaver and I can’t wait to try and seal different items, highly recommend.

Ten stars!!! A must!

Always at the box box stores and purchase bulk meats. This is has been amazing in storage and seal. I don’t know y it took so long for me to use. The food saver is not bulky.. like the variety of sizes to seal. I think this more cost effective, no freezer burn. Keep my food lasting longer.

Great Machine-kitchen must have
This is the finest FoodSaver I have purchased to date. We prepare meals in the crock pot and freeze in FoodSaver bags so we have a wide variety of choices at meal time. This machine allows us to freeze not only solid foods, but also soups and stews, which we love. I have been a FoodSaver customer since the early 1980's when I purchased my first machine at a fish and tackle show in San Diego. Barely a day goes by that I don't use the machine.

Great features

This Foodsaver VS5930 Elite All in One is what I have been looking for. This sealer is great for liquids and so easy to use. The bag options are much better than the past. With grocery prices soaring, waste must be minimal. I have saved so much food from going to waste.

great to freeze food

Wonderful!
